Salon guidelines for your visit — plus how we handle your personal information at Vie.

Our salon policies

We want every visit to feel effortless. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our salon policies before your appointment.

Cancellation policylogo
As a courtesy to our artists and guests we require at least 24-hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We require that you notify us of any changes or cancellations 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time to avoid 50% of cancellation charge plus 18% gratuity. For any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows, full value of reserved salon service will be applied plus 18% gratuity. For group bookings over 4 people, we require 72 hours notice.

If the booking has been made with a gift voucher, please be advised that Vie reserves the right to cancel any prepaid voucher or gift certificate if an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice or if a no show occurs.
Petslogo
Guests are permitted to bring one small (under 5kg) well behaved dog with them into the salon. For the convenience of other guests, your dog must be kept in a dog bag while in the salon. Service animals are of course always welcome!
Childrenlogo
We offer The Mini Manicure and The Mini Pedicure for children under 10 years of age. Anyone over 10 will be required to pay the regular treatment price. Parental consent will be required for any booking for a client under the age of 16 (we will ask you to complete a consent form at the beginning of the appointment). The parent or guardian is required to be present throughout the treatment.

Due to the restricted and busy environment at Vie, we unfortunately can't accommodate any children not having a treatment in the salon.

Our commitment to quality is reflected in the premium services we offer with highest quality products. However should you encounter any issues, we offer a seven day repair policy for any gel polish treatments and a three day repair policy for any regular polish treatments at no cost.7 days guaranteed for our soft gel services- if you experience any issue, we will fix it at no cost.

Pre-arrivalslogo
In order to receive the best experience, we encourage all guests to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure there is plenty of time to check in, choose the perfect polish, and enjoy our complimentary refreshments.
Late arrivalslogo
We understand things happen and you may need to reschedule your experience. As a courtesy to all guests scheduled throughout the day, on-time arrival is expected. If you are 10 minutes or more late for your booking we may not have time to complete the service as a whole, but we will do our very best to accommodate you. If we perform an abbreviated service due to your late arrival, you will be charged for your originally scheduled service.

Due to limited availability we recommend that all clients book in advance. That said, if you are walking by you are welcome to ask and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you love your service, please feel free to leave a tip. At Vie 100% of tips (even when on credit card – we pay the fee) are passed on to the specific artist you saw.

Treatment and product prices are subject to change but are correct at time of posting. If there are errors, or typos reflected in our prices, we are not required to honor them, though we will contact you with details of the error and you will have the option to continue or cancel. Prices are displayed in CAD Dollars and not include HST
Discount code and special offerslogo
Discount codes cannot be combined with other offers or bundles unless otherwise stated. We may withdraw or amend offers at any point without notice. Where combo / package deals are offered, no substitutes or changes can be made to the set treatment.

At Vie, We value our employees and take their safety, health and well-being seriously. We don't tolerate rudeness or disrespect and have the right to refuse service to any customer who behaves inappropriately. We reserve the right to amend terms and conditions when necessary, with or without advance warning.
Lost or damage propertylogo
We ask our guests to look after their property during their time at our salon. Vie is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Please be aware that given the nature of our work and a busy working environment, guests are advised to take particular care of their belongings during treatments to minimize their risk of loss or damage to personal items including jewelry.
